Superman rescues Leo Quintum, head of the DNA P.R.O.J.E.C.T., and his assistants from another of Lex Luthor''s dastardly schemes. With Luthor put behind bars, it seems as if the forces of good are once again triumphant. But this disguises Luthor''s greatest accomplishment...the death of Superman himself!
