Summary
Los Angeles, 1959. Paul Ares receives a call from the police. His ex-wife, Diane, has been found murdered in a hotel room. He must now take care of his daughter, Callie, whom he has not seen for years. A veteran of the Korean War, Paul drowned himself in alcohol, gradually distancing himself from his family.
